You can convert a message in your project into a template. A template differs from a message in several ways:
- Templates are immutable (can not be changed)
- You can create new messages from a template
- Templates appear in the template browser window
- Templates can be used in any project
- Templates are synced to all your devices via the cloud
- For enterprise users, templates can be shared with other members of your organization
- Templates can be exported and shared with other Direct Mail users
Create a Template
- Select a message
- Choose Message > Create Template from Message from the menu bar at the top of your screen
- Give you template a name
- Click Create
The template is created and saved in your template library. Choose Window > Templates from the menu bar at the top of your screen to browse your templates.
Share a Template
- Choose Window > Templates from the menu bar at the top of your screen
- Select a template
- Click the Share button in the toolbar
Enterprise users can share their custom templates with other members of their organization via the cloud:
- Choose Window > Templates from the menu bar at the top of your screen
- Select a template
- Click the Cloud button in the toolbar and choose Move Template to Cloud (Organization)
Other members of your organization will see the template in their template browser.
