This help article is for an old version of Direct Mail.
You can restart a paused autoresponder. Here's how:
- Choose Windows > Autoresponder from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
- Select the autoresponder you want to restart.
- Click the start button (▶︎) in the top-right corner of the window.
If your autoresponder was triggered while it was paused (for example, your autoresponder was triggered by a new subscriber), then Direct Mail will not send out an email, but it will remember that recipient for later. When you restart your autoresponder, you will be given the option to send your autoresponder to those recipients (or ignore them).
Restarting an autoresponder that was paused due to account issues
If your autoresponder was paused due to account issues (insufficient email credit balance, declined credit card, disabled account, etc.), then you will need to resolve the issue before the autoresponder can be restarted. See this help article on paused autoresponders for more information.
