This help article is for an old version of Direct Mail.
You can add a variety of different types of links to your message in Direct Mail. You can link to:
- Web pages
- Email addresses
- Telephone numbers
- Sections within your email (anchors)
Here's how to add a link:
Adding a link to existing text
- Select the text that you'd like to turn into a link
- Choose Edit > Add Link (or click the button that looks like an arrow in the message editor toolbar)
- Enter the URL, email address, telephone, or anchor that you want to link to
Creating a new link without existing text
- Click the location in your message where you'd like the link to appear (must be in a text block).
- Choose Edit > Add Link (or click the button that looks like an arrow in the message editor toolbar)
- Enter the URL, email address, telephone, or anchor that you want to link to
Adding a link to an image
- Click on the image that you want to link
- Change the "Link" pop-up menu from "None" to either URL, Email Address, Telephone or Anchor
- Enter the URL, email address, telephone, or anchor that you want to link to
Adding a link to a button
- Click on the button that you want to link
- Enter the URL, email address, telephone, or anchor that you want to link to
