Sending email using your own email server

This help article is for an old version of Direct Mail.

You can send your message using your own mail server. Here's how:

  1. Make sure you have created a Direct Mail account and enabled SMTP Access.
  2. Make sure you have set up your mail server settings in the Settings (Preferences) window.
  3. Select the message you want to send.
  4. Choose Messages > Send Message from the menu bar (or click Send in the toolbar).
  5. Choose your mail server from the "Send Using" popup menu.
  6. Click Send.
